Education is more than examination
We believe a school’s job is not merely to prepare students for board examinations, though we take results seriously. It is to prepare them for life: for the complexity of relationships, for the demands of a changing economy, for citizenship in a diverse democracy, and for the inner discipline that makes all of this possible.
Future-ready from day one
Mother Mary’s has aligned its curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices with the National Education Policy 2020, emphasising experiential learning, critical thinking, interdisciplinary study, and the development of 21st-century skills alongside deep subject knowledge. Foundational literacy and numeracy are non-negotiable from Pre-Primary onwards.

Mother Mary’s opened in 2006 with forty students and three teachers. Today we have over 2,800 students, 125+ teaching staff, and a campus that holds every library, laboratory, studio, and court a girl needs from age three to seventeen. That growth has never been an end in itself, it has been the result of a single, consistent commitment: to be the best girls’ school in East Delhi, every year, without exception.
Our record speaks to this commitment. 100% board results year after year. National and state-level sporting champions. Artists and debaters who represent the school at the highest level. Alumni in top universities across India and abroad. And a community of 700+ students on EWS scholarships, because we believe access to quality education cannot depend on the ability to pay.
Some things we choose not to do
We don't rank students against each other
Every student is measured against her own potential, not a peer. We celebrate individual growth, not relative position.
We don't cut sport or arts for extra theory
Timetabled PE, music, dance, and art are never replaced. They are part of how we build the whole person.
We don't treat the EWS quota as a formality
Over 700 students attend on EWS scholarships, fully integrated, fully supported, and held to the same standard as every other girl.
